We are pleased to invite associated partners and few key stakeholders from the forest sector to participate in the forthcoming online introductory workshop that will take place on the 21st of June 2024, from 9.30 to 12.00 C.E.T., introducing the recently started “StrategyMedFor” project. The project aims at developing a Strategy for the Sustainable Management of Mediterranean Forests that integrates new technologies and Mediterranean wide data to guide forest management purposes.

This 2.5 hour-online workshop aims to bring together the partnership of StrategyMedFor project, its 8 associated partners, and few key Mediterranean players in Mediterranean Forest-related matters, to introduce StrategyMedFor’s overall approach and to present a detailed action plan for its first year of implementation.

The initial session of the workshop will address a general presentation of the project and the partnership. It will be followed by a session of consultation with the participants to assess the relevance of the proposed draft set of criteria, indicators, and ancillary information that the project has pre-selected as priority for building its Strategy for the Sustainable Management of Mediterranean Forests.
