How can the StrategyMedFor Framework, indicators and supporting tools help forest managers respond to today’s challenges?

Join us for an online technical webinar exploring how StrategyMedFor tools can be translated into practical solutions for sustainable and climate-resilient forest management.

The webinar will introduce the methodologies and applications developed and tested through StrategyMedFor, with a focus on:

• The StrategyMedFor Framework and indicators for sustainable forest management in the Mediterranean region
• Biodiversity assessment to support conservation and management decisions
• Fire impact assessment and tools for strengthening forest resilience
• Climate change impacts and predicting shifts in species distribution
• Supporting tools for action prioritisation and decision-making
• Action plans and transboundary cooperation for coordinated forest management

The session will combine methodological presentations with practical examples, helping participants understand what each tool does, what data it requires, and how it can support real-world forest management challenges.
