Face-to-face Consultation Workshop

Objectives of the workshop:

This 3-day workshop aims at co-designing a 10-year Strategy for the Sustainable Management of Mediterranean Forests (SSMMF). Building on the definition of a renewed concept of sustainable forest management, the sessions will discuss the criteria and indicators that the strategy shall determine and the spatial proxies and indexes that shall inform the Strategy and guide the management and actions at site level.

A site visit to Samaria National Park, one of the three test sites of StrategyMedFor, is planned for 18 September 2024. During the site visit, demonstration and validation work will take place.
